Definitely Not a Diet
The word "diet" implies a temporary state of austerity… a strict regimen of restricted calories, avoiding fats, living on celery, skipping desserts, "cheating," feeling guilty and eventually "going off" the diet. For years we've gotten terrible advice and bad information on making our bodies strong and healthy. Well-meaning doctors have been proven wrong about the ways our bodies really work, and shysters have cheated us with worthless and harmful products that have made us fatter and sicker.
These pages are about making small changes in our choices, adopting healthier habits, and making these little improvements permanent, making and changing our own rules as we find better ways to look after ourselves. This is definitely not a diet!
Always consult your physician before you make any changes in the foods you eat, or add any supplements, vitamins or exercises to your daily routine.
